once, in a land long ago,('99) there was these 5 guys that hated everything on the radio because it sucked. so they decided they would start a band. after practicing for 2 months they had a 9 song set they would unleash on the world,(neenah wi.).people seemed to like it so they recorded in a studio on an analog 8 track in some guys basement for 100 dollars!!so they took that cd to local bars and rocked them. just as they were getting good, tragedy struck. they got kicked out of their jamhouse for partying and jamming untill 4-5 a.m. every night(not morning because we didnt go to bed yet).well after that they regrouped and found a new place to party.it was nice for a while untill they realized they couldnt jam there!!well after weeks of searching they found the perfect house, right down the street from the bar they frequented, plus they could jam till all hours of the night. so the writing began. 8 songs later, they were ready for a real studio. they found a studio in town that would let them use their strats and cabs, fenders and ampegs, and mars pro and paistes. 3 days of hell and 1042 dollars and they had a cd.
things were going well until tragedy one again nipped at their guitar straps. their bass player(who was a scaler of immense proportions), quit the band.then like a sign from above our friends came over to go to the bar. after trashing everything (even the manhole covers on the streets)(which are made in neenah,wi look for yourself)they slept. well jeremy came over to wake the fellas when it dawned on them, lets have jeremy play bass.he can play a gibson, why not a bass.
then they practiced and played shows and went back to the studio that let them use their great shit and recorded, synthetic learning, a 4 song e.p. that you can download right here after this story.
so the moral of the story is "get drunk and figure it out tomorrow" .......
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
i think i already went through this
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
we used to play alot at ryans ballroom which is a great place.one day while we were renting practice space in the ballroom we found out that rob zombie was going to play on the stage we were practicing on so we thought we would be nice and leave him a letter on stage hoping he would suck, because thats what he does anyway.
