The Stickybacks are a 6-piece skacore band originating from East London that play an upbeat and original mixture of punk and ska with a few reggae, rock and metal-tinged sounds thrown in for good measure.
Band/artist history
Originally formed in the Spring of 2000 with four core members, the Stickybacks now boast a three-piece brass section that has fully matured and developed their sound. To date, the Stickybacks have recorded 3 demos, and hope, with a little luck, to release several of these tracks on a debut EP. Having played with the likes of King Prawn, [spunge], The Foamers, 5 Knuckle, The Filaments, Not Katies, Fireapple Red, Strike Of '59 and The Big, and being able to take pride in an exciting and energetic live set, the Stickybacks are hoping for bigger and better things including a short tour of the country, appearances on several compilations, and a release and distribution of their forthcoming EP. Download a track and see what you think, or send us an e-mail at stickybackspastics@lycos.com for information and bookings. E-mail us with your name and address and we will send you a free copy of our current 6-track EP.
