Hey Steve, I listened to your song "I've Been Up On The Mountain"...you tell a nice story and the instrumental is nice, catchy chorus...gotta love that fiddle too...keep up the good work...i voted the song HOT to help ya out in the charts...let me know when you have new material..I would like for you to listen to my instrumental sometime, thanks and much respect... Rose, Thank you once again. As you most likely know, "Mole in the Ground" is a traditional old-time country song that has been a favorite of string bands, banjo pickers, and country fiddlers since the 1920s, and possibly earlier. I hope I did the song justice. I have been a big fan of traditional music since I was a teenager, and it doesn't matter to me whether one calls it old-time music, folk music, or roots music.
