Hey Steven,
I'm here out of curiousity after your review and I'm listening to Blue Christmas right now and I can hear the potential here. Unfortunately there is no cohesion here, at about 2 minutes I was left wondering if something great was coming but it never came. The manipulation of samples is obvious here and tend to make the piece sound overly fabricated. Vocal and string pads sound too manipulated for my taste. Overall the song idea is fair but I feel that the prodution needs a lot more love.

"500 Miles To The Future" (5/10)
I'm sorry, but that's the only song I checked out. I don't like techno at all, but if I did, I guess this would be nice. The vocals were pretty good, on point. You actually spoke of the topic, which is a thumbs up in my 'book of judging songs'. Singing wasn't all that good, but I'm not a homo, so I can't judge a guy's voice like that.. Keep it up, though. This was okay. Of course, I did vote 'hot' since I gave you a 5/10 and my rule is:
5 or higher = hot
4 or lower = flop

Just to say thanks for taking the time to comment on my songs, I'd say Oceans is the weakest of all the songs there though!
Of all your own material, I like Still Standing the most by far. I could easily hear this being played at the Art School (a club in Glasgow) - it's got a real retro sound to it, like a real classic dance track. The lyrics are great too, I really liked them - I'm playing it again for the fifth time!

The lyrics could be a wee bit clearer, but the song itself is absolutely brilliant! And that's coming from someone who isn't even a fan of dance/pop!

Hey Steven, here for a review like I said. Listening to "So Very Lonely", you seem to have trouble keeping on top of the note you're singing at times. I like the soft piano and voices in the background though. Keep doing what you do. Also, LOL at that guy who said "Singing wasn't all that good, but I'm not a homo, so I can't judge a guy's voice like that.. ", that gave me a good laugh...
