Steve Hansen Smythe
I like odd rhythms. If you can dance to my favourite pieces, the chances are that you have a prime number of walking appendages. Check out my , including scores and MP3 files. Read about my . "Engagement" is one of my pieces which uses my new notation. The beat structure is most often five bunches of five sixteenths followed by a bunch of three sixteenth notes.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
It's been many years since I performed one of my own pieces live. However, in December 2006 I performed the role of "Frog" in a local production of "A Year With Frog and Toad", which required me to do a lot more public singing than I'd been accustomed to, and I sang Michael Jackson's "Bad" while performing in the pantomime "Aladdin" in December 2012.
