Ray (singer) had started a So-Cal pop rock band called the “The Spun” right out of high school. Playing bass for “The Spun" was his guitar playing brother Kamren, who filled in the low end specifically for this project. The band quickly gained a following playing the local Orange County spots. The less motivated members left the band to pursue other interests and “The Spun” ended. Kamren went back home to guitar and started honing in on his songwriting and tone crafting skills; Ray continued writing. The reformation of a new group started with Mark Allan, Ray’s co-worker who had been playing bass, unbeknownst to his singing associate. Ray, Mark, and Kamren didn’t waste time getting into the studio. The foundation of StereoFix was laid. The trio placed an ad for a drummer in an O.C. newspaper. A few months and plenty freak shows later, drummer Bob Matthews joined the group; rigorous rehearsals commenced. With over 30 songs under their belt, StereoFix is entertaining audiences and catching industry attention in Southern California
