Stereo Dreams
have been together since summer of '05. Its a mix of jazz, rock, blues, folk, and yes even country. Lead singer, lead guitar player, and songwriter , has a plethora of musical tastes and influences to write on, the drummer Park and former bassist Jeff Dachauer added there own character and personality to the sound to make each song a Stereo Dreams masterpiece :) The band will be making music pleasant to the ears of at least themselves if no one else, long into the future.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We've played shows across Illinois but mostly in our hometown Bloomington, IL. We play shows at coffeehouses, clubs and have taken a victory in a city wide battle of the bands event sponsored by a a local AAA radio station, which garnered them some airplay over a large listener area.
Your musical influences
We take influence from literally every genre of music from of the course the obvious rock music to blues, country, jazz, metal, R&B, hip hop, and even classical compositions. From Third Eye Blind, to John Lee Hooker, Yngwei Malmsteen, to Alexi Laiho
