What up world. It's ya boy Kay. I'm the Co-Ceo of Step Up Production. I also do some of the production and engineering/Rapper/Song Writer. Our main goal for ourselves an our artist is to offer something the game been missing for along time. To us the game been saturated with money,cars, hoes and chains. Add to that the lack of lyrical content in majority of the music today. Then you have a industry of artist that have been recycling each other music. With Step Up Production we will change that. You will hear it in each song that is place on the board. So I ask that each song be listen to with open ears. Not just the beats, but really listen to what each individual artist has to say.

Started two years ago, been through some ups and downs, but we are still striving for perfection even though we are not.

Yes. Majority at open mic venues and things like that. We did a coupla of the Spoken Word Cafes around the Chicago area. Also a coupla of months back we got a chance to open up for TI at Gramlin State University. I can say that was the most special moment for us right there.

My Musical influences expands across a variety of music and artists. From Jazz, Blues, R&b,Hip Hop, Soul, Dusties. I think what drives us in the creativity of the artists past.
