My name is Stephen O'Rourke, I'm a guitar player, singer, song writer and producer. I played with RCA recording artists The Nails, back in the 80's. I've been knocking around the NYC music scene for a few decades.
I use this forum to share some of my solo work and band demos.
Band/artist history
Some of my personal musical accomplishments include, Recording for RCA at Electric Lady Studios in NYC and Criteria Studios in Miami, and the aformentioned big gigs.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
These days it's mostly bars but in the past I've played venues as big as The Beacon Theater in NYC and The Paradise in L.A.
Your musical influences
Stones, Bowie, Sabbath. More recently I've been into Queens of the Stone Age, The Arcade Fire, Belle & Sabastian, Massive Attack, Goldfrapp and LCD Soundsystem.
