Stephan Marc Dubois
Hi...My name is Stephan Marc Dubois. I'm a songwriter living in Texas. My style is more classic country, pop, "Texas" Country, Christian Country and Gospel, with a few "where did that come from"? thrown in.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play "Live from my living room" for just about anyone that will listen. I wrote a song in 1997 called "On The Wings Of A Dream" and it's public debut was at the concert of a local voice coach named Sonny Rios.
Your musical influences
My musicial influences are from the old country days, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Sonny James, Johnny Bush, you know, the real country music.
What equipment do you use?
I have a Takamine Acoustic/Electric and a 1980 model Alvarez Regent Acoustic, that I made electric.
Anything else?
I love the songwriting and creative process. It's such a rush, to take a word, a phrase or a melody, put it on paper, demo it and hear the final product. Drop me a line sometime and maybe we can write together!
