Wsup world?, this is your boy Steel City Drifter. I live in Decatur, Ga by way of Pittsburgh, Pa. I've been living down here in Decatur since 2006 now. I came down here to get my music on, because it's not happening in Pittsburgh musically right now. I've been producing and rapping for 19 years now. It's just now is the time for me to buckle down and get serious about this music and thats why I came to Soundclick. I would like to network and create successful relationships dealing with music and meeting people with the same dreams and ambitions as me. So if your as serious about this music as I am, we'll get along just fine. By the way every song on my page I produced from scratch, meaning I don't sample, I just make all my tracks myself. Your musical influences
Music by itself in its entirety, with all the different types of artists and styles have influenced me as a whole. My favorite though is Rakim. He was way ahead of his time in the eighty's and was never really recognized for his talent or appreciated as the great artist he is.What equipment do you use?
I make my beats on the Motif 7 by yamaha, I use magix music maker, fruity loops things like that.Anything else?
I just want a chance to be heard. I make great music and I've been doing it for a long time, and the key is I never had my own studio equipment. I just took every oppurtunity i had to make beats and get better to my advantage. I'm a self taught music man. I never played and instrument or dj'd or took lessons on anything dealing with music, just my pure love for making great music was my vehicle. I'm telling you I'm the hottest producer you never heard of, becasue I have my own brand of music I like to call Impact music, reason being is once you hear one of my beats they'll impact you in some kind of way. So If you want your songs taken to the next or another level you'll be sorry you didnt atleast give me a call or a chance, but if you dont its your loss. Holla!!! Oh and by the way all my music is copy written so dont try it, you know what I mean.
