Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Ste AkA Gee has been producing music for around 3 years on and off, he started making it at a studio for young people in Buttershaw called Ripple, he learnt alot throughout the time he was there. The skills Ste AkA Gee picked up where sound production and basic studio wiring. He has had training on Cubase, Acid, Soundforge and Reason. After awhile of been at Ripple he got a work placement and started working with young people around the area showing them how to make basic tunes on Reason and put vocals over them with Acid! I DJ at alot of parties and have done a couple of small clubs but not really done any big gigs as yet, that is what im hoping for the future!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have DJ'd live at lots of parties but I haven't really played any big clubs, only a couple of small ones!
Your musical influences
Influences are all around me, there are more and more bedroom producers everyday and I think we can learn alot from each other!
What equipment do you use?
I make my music on Reason 4.0 which runs from your computer and turntables for DJ'ing
