Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Starline 69 consists of 5 skilled musicians : Tweeko (Jeroen Van Esbroeck/keyboards), Yellow Boots (Jelle Boets/guitar), Wim Van Der Westen (drums), 72 Soul (Peter Beda/vocals) and Marc "Bass" Pesic (bass).
Starline 69 has been around since 2000 but it wasnt untill 2004 that things really kicked off.
Coming from very different musical backgrounds and influences, the initial Starline 69 set-up was mainly a mix of instrumental P-funk and rock with jazzy and psychedelic hooks, reminiscent of a cool soundtrack for a seventies pornflick.
The Starline 69 sound has now evolved towards powerful grooves laced with P-funk with early eighties Prince references.
When played live with much enthousiasm and charisma, these tight, funky pop songs are sure to make people dance their pants off !
