Standing in the Middle is a project that is dedicated to performing music that exposes multiple levels of relationships, hardships, terrors and beauty. Our anxiety is to create and display snapshots of humanity, to offer possible hints of the eternal, to provoke thought and contemplation, or sometimes just to have a little playful fun with the musical possibilities. With this as our goal we believe that we can always create music that is complete in itself: the music stays tuned to the content, the content stays tuned to the music, and we will stay in-tune to both.
