Stabwunde
I am the sole member (thus far) of the new industrial sensation, Stabwunde. I'm currently working on putting together an album of my beats and trying to lay some vocals down, experimenting for the first time with the capabilities of my voice. I've been making electronic music and recording on my computer for about 3 years, and ... well... it's all I do, really.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I don't play live yet. I need other musicians and some MIDI hardware. I use VSTi's and an on-screen MIDI controller to produce a lot of my sounds, and a lot of samples, too. It's hard to do that stuff live, but SOON!
Your musical influences
The most direct influence on my actual sound is KMFDM, Rammstein, Pitchshifter, PiL, etc... but I could listen to 30 minutes of Swedish yodelling and get influenced, really.
What equipment do you use?
My guitar collection, bass guitar, crappy amps, a pants load of VSTi's, my endless collection of loops & samples, and anything else I can find around the house.
