Split Sofa are a progressive rock band with overtones of late 60's and early 70's influence
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Started life in 1999. Lewie had been writing songs for years each time getting a better and better recorder. He waited till he had written some not so band songs and asked his other band "Lewie D's Blues Shack" to help out. This spawned the album "ANGERLISTIC PILLOW" 2000. This album sold well and Lewie set about recording a better album 2 years later called "THE DAY AFTER THE DAY BEFORE" 2002.This album sold even more and while it was being recorded the band built their own studio called "the blues shack". Since then the band have laid many tracks down for their next album "THE SORCERER'S LULLABY" to be realeased in the fall of 2004.
