Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?

Vocals - Jim DeFlumeri “Jimmy D”
Jim, an Oklahoma native, grew up in Denville, graduated from Morris Knolls High School, Oklahoma State University and currently resides in Denville, NJ
Jim’s musical roots are in classic and southern rock from the 60’s and 70’s as well as today’s sounds currently listening to new Kansas, Creed, and anything without rap or sampled music in it.
Jim’s former band include vocals for Timber Wolf and The Blue Souls and has played shows at Mothers, The Fireside, Rock the House, Marcella Pub, The Exchange, Fone Booth and any place that had free beer.
Jim’s singing brings smart lyrics and a diverse melodic range of vocals to the front of Split Rock’s sound.
Guitar Tom Uhlig “The Professor”
Tom grew up in Parsippany, graduated from Parsippany High and currently resides in Washington, NJ
Tom, a classically trained Guitar player and Piano player, has been playing music since childhood
Tom’s musical roots are in classic rock
Tom’s former bands included guitars for Lembia
Lembia produced studio style recordings and is the basis for many of Split Rock’s new original music
Tom’s guitar playing brings a rich and powerful sound to Split Rock
Bass Rob Cornwell “Léon”
Rob grew up in Budd Lake graduated from Mt. Olive HS and currently resides in Budd Lake, NJ
Rob’s musical roots are in Punk/Hardcore, Progressive Rock
Rob has been guitar since H.S. but just recently began playing bass in fall of 2001.
Rob has worked with past and present members of MoFunk and currently Newmadic.
Drums Larry Carey “Leddy”
Larry grew up in Parsippany, graduated from Parsippany Hills and currently resides in Stockholm, NJ
Larry has been playing drums since elementary school
Larry’s musical roots are in 70’s style rock, 80’s style metal and punk
Larry’s former bands include drums for Joyride, which did shows at the Showplace in the 80’s
Larry’s drum playing adds the hard rock rhythm to Split Rock
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes we play live, in northern NJ for now, We're a live band, we like it that way. Its always special. We'll play for you, just ask.
Your musical influences
Cowboy Ozzy Rush ing up a Black Sabbath highway using Ac/Dc current from the U2 bomb flying like a Pink Floyd Pig straight into the Led Zeppelin.
