Everybody has at one time in there life gone through a struggle...In a world where your taught only the "strong survive", Splita takes small steps to change views on that. "I feel anyone can survive, its the ones that succeed that are the strongest." Since a young child he has done everything to ensure his success spot, always setting new goals and raising the bar. It all goes back to the well known phrase, "what doesnt kill you only makes you stronger"...and right now i feel im the strongest still breathing. Splita was born in New York, Aug. 1st, 1983. Moving to Florida at an early age, he decided music and the hustle were his only ways of life. In his 10th grade of high school he started to persue rap and beat production as a not only just a hobby, but his career. After many hours in local studios watching "pros" do they thing, he quickly picked up a feel for the music, and created a sound of his own. In 1999, Splita joined a local group in Palmetto, Florida. After a couple months and a few mixtapes later, he realized that this group wasnt for him. Working as a solo artist for the next 2 years he dropped several mixtapes and one album "Fully Equipt". It was nothing short of 15 Tracks with pure heat soon gaining the respect of many dj's, promotors, and top artist. Then after taking nearly a year off, to work on new material and beats, he recorded Hoppin' Out in June 2005. Shortly after the release Splita was officially signed to Scandalis Records. His expectations of his Hip Hop career is "simply to be heard." "I could care less about the fame, i just want people to be able to say Splita, an i get the respect deserved. I wanna put FLA on tha map wit all my people."
