Spiral Path
The music of Spiral Path uses Drum & Bass as a staring point to a destination that is still unknown. No limitations, just cool beats and music for your listening pleasure.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've been playing guitar for over 10 years now and over the last few years have gotten into electronic and underground music.
picked up a keyboard and some gear a few years back and haven't looked back since.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
unfortunately no live gigs as of yet.
Your musical influences
Lots of influences. I'm a huge fan of atmospheric/intelligent Drum & Bass, Trip-hop, Breakbeat, Shoegazer, Ethereal. Pretty much anything trippy or dreamy sounding. I grew up on oldschool classic rock and have much respect for the guitar heroes of the late 60's- 70's i.e. Ritchie Blackmore, Jimmy Page, Hendrix, Trower, Clapton, Jeff Beck, etc...
Favorite bands/artists:
ASC, Mav, ICR, Resound, Probe One, Klute, Blame, LTJ Bukem, Seba, Paradox, DJ Shadow, RJD2, Portishead, Massive Attack, Love Spirals Downwards, Esthero, The Autumns, Jeff Buckley, Cocteau Twins, The Cure, The Smiths, Depeche Mode, Underworld, .... tons more, but I just don't feel like trying to type them all here!!!( too lazy!!! lol!! )
What equipment do you use?
Acid Pro, Line 6 guitar port,Microkorg, Triton keyboard, Alesis drum machine, Fender Telecaster
Anything else?
music is life!
