My Testimony
Daniel Matthews aka Speezy was born and raised in Newcastle, Australia and grew up in a non-christian family. In his early teens Daniel started hanging around negative influences at school which lead to partying and crime. At the age of 15 Daniel attended Big Exo day in Sydney, Australia were he heard Darrell Scott speak on his daughter Rachel Scott [who had been a victim of a High School shooting]. Darrell spoke on his faith throughout this time and during his speech the Holy Spirit come upon Daniel convicting him of his sins and his need for a Savior. Later that night Daniel committed his life to Jesus. For a year after this Daniel was mixed between being a committed christian and a weekend 'partier' but in January 2009 he attended a Snow boarders Discipleship Training School In Denver Colorado, USA. The 5 month experience changed his life dramatically and Daniel now wholly follows Jesus with all his heart. Since returning to Newcastle Daniel has gained a passion for rapping. With music being the universal language and a powerful tool that strikes straight to the heart; Daniel's songs are spreading the word of Christ in his lyrics.Have you performed in front of an audience?I haven't yet.. but I do plan to in the near future.
