Jake Palumbo - Shoot Interview Jake Palumbo - Shoot Interview

Shoot Interview means telling the truth - 'I'm proof that puny assets/will destine you for fame on community access' Palumbo's a cynical prick - you know you love it.

Jak D - Wonderland Jak D - Wonderland

A lead banger off Jak D's Lawnmower Man album, coming September 2005. Produced by Jake Palumbo. Witty lyrics making light of a terrible epidemic in the Southeast. Hip-hoppers and Meth-Labbers UNITE!!! Funny cause it's true

Alternative Hip Hop

SpaceLAB Records is: Jake Palumbo Jak D DJ V-Cut C-4 *TOO ABSTRACT FOR THE HOOD, TOO HOOD FOR THE BACKPACK KIDS* Your FAVORITE conglomerate of indie hip-hop artists EVER (keep repeating to yourself)
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Pretty often, both locally and on the road. Live shows and touring are a vital part of SpaceLAB's music. We put out an underground VHS called "Hood Tactics" that documents some of our childish antics during and before/after shows. We've played over 50 self-booked/promoted headlining shows this year (2005), plus opening slots for Young Buck of G-Unit, Cappadonna, Afroman, Icon the Mic King, Three 6 Mafia, Fiend (formerly No Limit) Psyche Origami, OneBeLo, A.W.O.L. One, ShapeShifters and Jamario of Def Comedy Jam/Comic View. We've entertained crowds in Tennessee, North & South Carolina, Virginia, Ohio, St. Louis MO, Jacksonville FL, New York City and Chicago, IL.
What equipment do you use?
For Beats - Ensoniq ASR-X sampling drum machine, E-Mu Mo'Phatt synth/sequencer, Propellerhead Reason 3.0, ReCycle 2.1, Yamaha RMX-1, M-Audio O2 midi keyboard, TURNTABLES and VINYL (alot of new jacks may not be familiar with this technology) For recording - CoolEdit Pro 1.2, Rode NT-1A vocal condensor mic, ART Studio V3 mic pre, Behringer mixing console, Echo MIA Midi interface
