Southstyle Beat Kings/Elements Productions aka Southstyle BKE
Comprised of Tayo (TJoy) and Sonnie (Tre $$$).
We are in the process of creating a new world order in music!
But seriously, we are trying to get into music production with an ultimate desire to start a successful record label. We're based in Central and South Florida.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Tayo and Sonnie met in late January 2003 and become close friends almost immeadiately. After realizing a common love of music and a common interest in making music, they decided to make a business out of it.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
There's no live music, just beats. We haven't actually let anyone use our beats. We have an arnsenal of beats waiting to be unleashed onto the world.
Your musical influences
Timbaland. Viewed as producer extraordinare! (our holy grail)
Also:
Sonnie has been involved with music (drum playing/ marching band) since the age of 9. Tayo has been involved in music since the age the age of 8 (chorus).
We draw inspiration from anywhere from nature to other musical styles, etc.
