Soundstem
Soundstem is about to break the mold for bands on the Vancouver music scene. Armed with both a crushing live show and a kick-ass debut album recorded at Ear Art Studios with producer Tim Neuhaus, the band has it's sights locked on success. Formed in the spring of 2007, Soundstem's self titled album contains driving rhythms and exploding riffs that make you want to thrash in the pit or sing to in the car. Most of the songs could be radio singles. They're all lyrically expressive and sonically moving. There's even a 'heavied down' cover for the juke box. "This is an album you can listen to front to back." The band is comprised of Doran : lead vocals, lead guitars, Randy : bass, vocals, Law : guitars, and JD : drums, who together as Soundstem raise the banner of hard rock and are focused on delivering a concert that provides everything an audience demands and more.
