Sounds of Minerva
Minerva came about during the summer of 2006. Band members include Jessica Schollaardt, Leela Aheer and Lauren Ireland. Together these three wrote with fervor infusing their music with complex melodic sections. Before they knew it, they found themselves captivating audiences from all over.
They have played over 100 performances in their young history.
Minerva’s debut CD was released in November, 2011. The title of this CD is “Follow Me” and that’s what fans did with a feverish abandon, wanting to temporarily experience the joy of Minerva’s delightful music.
Anything else?
Minerva has three concerts in the works. They are also planning a folk fest tour through the interior portion of British Columbia either this summer or next.
