Starting out six years ago as a disorganized band of friends in the halls of their shared high school in the Netherlands, Soundcheck has grown up to be an energetic group bringing you a fresh blend of up-tempo, punky pop rock and intimate ballads, all with a strong lyrical angle.
Paul Hunt (1981) studies psychology at Leiden University.
Juri Verstappen (1979) works at national radio station Radio 10 FM in Amsterdam.
Jasper Ader (1979) is a network engineer, a free lance sound engineer and a globetrotter.
In the last six years Soundcheck have independently produced and released four promotional demos and one full length album, and performed at many well-known venues across the Netherlands.
For over four years, they have also been active on the Internet. Their achievements in the digital domain include reaching the #1 spot of the Soundclick.com Rock Charts with their song, "Crash & Burn" in 2000.
They also featured on national radio a number of times, including performances on trend setter station Radio 3FM and hip young radio network BNN.
Since the spring of 2000 Soundcheck is under contract for management in the Netherlands with Avalon Music Holland.yo how about a collab..lol
