Music is my canvas in which a large variety of musical styles and textures are painted upon. The main musical styles are: New Age, Ambient, Alternative, Downtempo, Acoustic, Rock and Electronic and you will hear a mixture of these elements in every song that is composed. Some melodies will be somber, mellow and relaxing while others will be edgier. It is not about keeping to specific genre to increase sales, but to create an album that is focused on the complexities and artistries of life. It is more of a musical journal, written from experiences, symbolisms and concepts. The concept of Soulwire is to artistically interpret the life we all live into shades of melancholic and introspective tones.
Band/artist history
My musical career started with a solo New Age project "Soundweave". I gave Soundweave up to join a rock band as a rhythm guitarist for "Spring Loaded". After my son was born, I had decided to quit and collaborated two more New Age albums under the name "Torchlight Creek", which won a few online prestigious awards (see the awards section) such as Song of the Month and Hall of Fame (9.8 out of 10) for Gods of Music. Afterwhich, I decided that I wanted to go solo and have more flexibility in writing different styles of music which is where "The Salvatore Project" came. A recent review of Dream Empire landed it in the top 3% of songs reviewed (they have reviewed 363 total songs as this is being written).
