Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
SoulStream (eddie mitch and b. frank) has been together producing for two plus years now. From r & b and gospel to hip hop and rap. We plan to produce all genres when its all said and done.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We've done a couple of small shows, nothing big yet. A place called GL's place.
Your musical influences
SoulStream loves everything, especially with soul. But its always good to go with whats hot, just make it your own and be creative. Alot of our production stems from the old school. You cant put a finger on the sound to expect because its gonna be so different that it should be patented. If we could incorporate a different genre to the music we make it would be a plus. We like mixing soul with hip hop. A little blues and gospel with r and b. We welcome all worlds of music to our production. Just look out.
What equipment do you use?
MPC 1000, Triton Rack, Reason, Acid, Cubase.
Anything else?
We support and give props to local and out of state talent. Students of the game we call ourselves. So don't be scared to support SoulStream. You won't regret it. God 1st. Holla.
