Souls of the Arena is a collaberation project between SkillJim and Presti consisting mainly of dance, drum and bass and techno sounds.Band/artist history
SkillJim created a few basic dance tunes in 2004 and made an unreleased demo cd out of them. Like I Do was the very first song he worked on and holds a special meaning. SkillJim continued working on a few more songs, hoping to create a fresh new sound of dance music. He experimented with different samples creating 5 tracks for a demo CD. Since the 5 track demo CD SkillJim has joined forces with Presti and they are currently creating alot more music. SkillJim has made many of the songs which are on the Myspace page at the moment, and are taken straight from Souls of The Arena's debut album entitled 'Dreams Come True'. Go take a listen :)
Presti, listened to SkillJim's old demo CD and was very impressed with his work. He felt that with two musical minds working together they could create something really amazing. They formed Souls of the Arena at the start of 2006 year, hoping to do just that, and are currently combining their talents to produce some well structured dance tunes. Presti has made 4 amazing songs in total and along with SkillJim's list of tunes they created a debut album together entitled 'Dreams Come True'.

Well, there are quite a few tunes still being worked on, and SkillJim has created a side SoTA project entitled 'SoTA Tormented'. SoTA Tormented, is a mix of free new dance beats, and rough techno sounds, combined with melodic female vocals, and SkillJim's own unique screams, bringing a whole new level to the future of Dance music. Presti is helping SkillJim with some of his new material, and is also currently looking to begin a whole bunch of new tracks from himself.Have you performed in front of an audience?We don't play live currently.
Your musical influences
I have such broad musical tastes that I like anything from bands such as Coheed and Cambria, Breathe Carolina to bands and artists such as The Chemical Brothers, and Michael Jackson being my life idol!What equipment do you use?
We use computer software, and various instruments using line in to create the sounds we use for our songs.Anything else?
