Through many years the band has had the priviledge of ministering to numerous people through church and park outreaches. David was later joined by his wife, Sharon ,on bass and keyboards, and most recently by veteran Christian drummer, John Mrowiec. All members of the band are born-again beleivers and involved in music ministry at their respective churches as well as playing in the band. Soul Provider was originally formed in 1990 under the name "Axiom". After a three year battle with cancer, which nearly took Davids right arm, David wanted to form a band that would be able to minister to people who are hurting and are in need of a Savior , Jesus Christ.

It is out intention to " spur one another towards good deeds" [Hebrews 10;24] and to "shapen one another" [Proverbs 27:17] as we join together in proclaiming the message of Jesus Christ by the means of the lyrics in the music and its message. The Lords warns us that minisrty will Not be be easy [Mathew 5;11] and as a band and individually we face remendous challenges each and every day. Our motivation comes from seeing lives being changed ,and put back together.Also by a wounded heart being turned towards the Lord for healing ,and seeing hoplessness ,turned to hope,daily, by the warmth of Gods love.
