Classic Rock

A drummer at heart, Bob Venuto's musical enclave includes ballsy 6 & 12 string guitars and mellifluous piano scores. His portfolio entails over 25 years of music.
Band/artist history
Born and raised in Philly, Bob Venuto has been a player since age 13. Although his dynamic instrument range and technicality might imply classic training, Bob was instead cultivated in the likes of progressive virtuosos since the 70's, even sitting in to drum in a session with the renowned John McGlaughlin group. Bob is far too modest to ever accept such a label, but prodigy tends to be the impression one gets in the glory of his creations. He is an excellent drummer, a connoiseur of the 6 and 12 string guitars, and a killer keyboardist. He continues to challenge the rigidity of genre, with antiestablishment political rhythm and lyric, refusing at all times to pleasure the likes of expectancy. If the maxim is true, and a great artist rides currents of all seas, then Bob Venuto is no exception. He's somewhat of a mankind historian and a collector of rare philosophical, astrological, archaelogical and religious origin literature. Personally, he is the father of 5 children; four sons and one daughter. As a family of musical propensity, they are continually collaborative and always inspirational and supportive. Seldom is there a bowl of cereal consumed without the hammering resonance of Mike, bob's 3rd youngest, smashing his drumset to smitherenes. No doubt where he gets it from.
