Currently, Soulfire is made up of two rappers, Echo(Lindsay Shores) and ProKlaima (Shannon Shores). Members of Soulfire consider themselves to be nothing more than servants of Christ who want to restore men by bringing them into a relationship with The Way, The Truth, and The Life. Soulfire's mission is not to make a name for themselves, or to become the most popular rap group known. Soulfire seeks to go into the streets, homeless shelters, youth centers and other places to minister. This includes those un-evangelized parts of the world to let them know of the only name on earth by which men can be saved. (Acts 4:12). Soulfire gives all glory to God for what He has allowed us to do so far, thanks to those who have allowed them to partner with them in ministry, and is looking forward to the future. God is the vine, and we acknowledge we can do nothing apart from Him as we are His branches.
Band/artist history
Formed early in 2003. SoulFire is a versatile crew of the Lord's hip-hop artists who believe that God wants to redeem Hip Hop and win souls into the kingdom of God through a true Hip Hop cultural and musical outreach. The original inspiration for SoulFire emerged at a troubled inner city youth outreach of rap praise concerts on Friday nights... for any youth that would come or who could be bussed in. SOULFIRE originally started as a group of 6, however as many groups evolve and obligations change, SOULFIRE did likewise. However, after some adjustments and a few people coming and going, God brought a committed core with the same vision: a desire to impact troubled youth and see God restore hope and liberty to the captives.
