Soulcrusher is a one-man band from the cold forest of Baguio City, Philippines. This band was created after several bands of Knight Josephus didn't work out. It was single-handedly made with the hate and fear of Knight Josephus. It was started in the latter part of 2006 with "Krause" handling the vocal parts and inspirations of the dark and brooding side of Soulcrusher. However, due to some unavoidable circumstances, the 2-man band line-up has been reduced as a one-man band. Knight Josephus has continued to pursue the dream of a war-like beast status. and in the early part of 2010...Soulcrusher has released an EP entitled " Journey To The Lost Horizons"...it was a success in the locality and sold some of it internationally too. Soulcrusher has then caught the attention of "Salute Records" a Swedish record label and released a 3-song promo demo of soulcrusher...and the next stories will be coming in epic!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Soulcrusher started in my mind in 2005, by then I started reading materials for recording and started my home-studio. Producing Soulcrusher materials is not for the weak of heart. With just a guitar and a microphone. Music started to come out, just like I breathe air. It was no easy task either. And up to now...I am still looking for more information on how to improve this band. And beyond the year 2011, I assure much more quality of releases than the one posted here in this page.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Playing live was once in the glitch of my mind.but for now, it will just remain a dream. I cannot yet perform live until I found someone that will fit the music that I love. Meanwhile, I will stay home and produce those ear-splitting songs that will rape and torture the aura of my listeners!

thrash/black/death/grim/raw/symphonic/suicidal/grindcore/acoustic and all the noisy bands out there...
What equipment do you use?
Same pieces of equipment that I use in all Severe Metastasis/Haemangioma/StormTroopers materials. And those equipment have immortalized all my morbid ideas to the world of music!
