Rawls, Locsmif, Four Tet, Large Professor, Greyboy, Bonobo, Necro, Lewis Parker, Nujabes, Pete Rock, Nelly Furtado, RJD2, Nas, Masta Ace, Soul Supreme, Alchemist, Tommy Tee, Kankick... The list goes way, way on. I even forgot my favourite rapper & group, Freddie Foxxx and The Pharcyde.

Fruityloops for drums (kits or old soul & funk breaks, Cool Edit for filtering, Reason 3 for instruments, Magix Music Maker for gathering (it loops if you have cut out the melody to a wave file) and wavelab for bringing out the melodies in a sample.
