Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Music started for me when the radio stations/record lables lost the since of supporting original artists and evolved into supporting trends. At the age of fourteen I became a singer/song writer, and later added producer/ arranger to my capabilities. Through finding out my will, I understand that music is my place in life and music is me. Many adversities I had to face when I learned that music was my relation to the world (I lost jobs, friends, family and to an extent my sanity). I have been told that I couldn't do music but I guess those that have said that are eating their words now. Confidence was a big issue for me then I realized that I possess the talent and capabilties to be a legend. It took me along while to just appreciate who I am and live my life through the wisdom that God gave me. In stepping out on my dreams I have found it difficult at times (especially when it comes to supporting my self financialy) but I can't help but to make some since of this music game. With no regrets of where I have been. I am able to live at my greatest potiential(or some where close to it). This allows me to draw from my experiences to continue to write and compose good music. Through the years I have been fortunate to collaborate with many talented people: Vince Johnson of the band Lyric who helped me produce my second album titled "Souled Out", Morning Star, Illustrate who produced some songs on Isolated Generation's album (my hip-hop crew), Musa Soloman who did some production for my new album, and Playalitical who produced two songs for my first album titled ''Aquarius" I Gave (remix) and That's When". I have recorded songs with Fab & Spadez for The Cyde Productions and about a plethura of other artists. Currently part of a band called "Isolated Generation," "The Moetavation Crew" and am linked to about 100 or more producers, promoters, bands and other Entertainment professionals.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Ocassionally I play live I have performed at Cervantes ball room, The white house, Hermans hide out, The Roxy, Brother Jeffs, Cafe Nuba, The Oriental theater, Around Midnight, Black arts festival, Coors Field, Herbs, coffee shops locally and anywhere I could be heard.
Your musical influences
My influences are people dedicated to making music that lasts for a life time. Not just a catchy tune.
What equipment do you use?
Music Maker, Pro Tools, Fruity Loops, Sonar, Red Drum, Cake walk, and any thing else I can patch live insrtuments into to create a unique sound.
