SosaMan da 4th Quarter, born Brandon Major is an island child born and raised on the Caribbean island of Nassau , Bahamas . SosaMan has quickly put his name in the hat for up and coming rap superstars with his consistent ability to make hits. SosaMan, the self proclaimed Next Thing has amazed producers and DJ’s alike with his new wordplay. SosaMan has released over 30 tracks in two albums, Rap Star and Civilian Muzik. The artist is now shopping his newly released Demo, The Next Thing. The architect of Stay Hot continues to gain exposure in cities across 3 countries (US, Canada and Bahamas ). SosaMan and The Establishment has distributed over 8000 copies of his CDs in the last 6 months and has just begun a 3 month distribution of the new release, Next Thing Demo. This Bahamian National has combined his root accent with an American influence of his last 5 years of residence to make a sound he refers to as “Civilian” meaning “music for the masses”, a voice many nations can relate to. With his uncanny ability to spit metaphors and punchlines within a chronicle, he has been commonly called “The Next Thing.” In only 6 months of release, SosaMan has increased the CD collections of DJs from Nassau to Canada .
The Establishment has released RapStar, RapStar Mixtape with DJ MayDay, Civilian Muzik Mixtape with DJ MayDay, What’s Next and Next Thing Demo and is currently working on production to SosaMan’s next release “EarAirMuzik”. The first single Face-2-Face can only be heard at the microphone contest, Vote SosaMan at Shedarentertainment. SosaMan has definitely shocked hip hop listeners and has garnished a substantial amount of non- hip hop listeners. With his club antic lines, “VIP packed/Feeling Regular/ Switched it up, gave the bouncer more cheddar, more better, more room for me to get redder/ Trendsetter/ My music a lyrical chin checker.” And his real life hooks, “ColeMan free Maj/ I ain’t gat nothing left to say/There ain’t enough green to put me in a daze/I’m still gon count the days till ColeMan free um.” With a powerful release upcoming, SosaMan promises to create a whole new thing.
