2 Australians living it up in the south of England - Monica, sultry vixen of the mic and bass guitar, and Joel, guitarist, rhythm programmer and FX junkie of the highest magnitude.
Our style is slinky jazz with some blues and funk elements thrown in, all our songs have stories behind them.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Formed in 2003 in Canberra, Australia, Sophistocat comprises Monica (vocals, bass) and Joel (guitar, vocals).
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Southampton / Brighton / London
A special moment would be playing in the '04 Autumn Music Festival, but in general we like to think all our gigs are memorable.
