Sons of Sisyphus
UKRM's Unasked-for House Band
"The UKRM song by the Sons of Sisyphus is the closest you can get to being a biker, without the smell and the expense" - Carl 'Love me' Fogarty
Review: Kerrching!! 1973
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The sons of Sisyphus came about when 5 or 7 rocking bikers found themselves in hospital beds following unrelated motorcycle accidents- none of which were their fault, and in fact couldn't be avoided. By anyone. Their love for bikes was only equalled by their love for ukrm- a newsgroup
set up for bikers, wannabe bikers and biker hags. Each possessed an uncanny affinity with a musical intrument apart from one- who was promptly ignored and lives in Essex. No one talks to him. The remainder formed the SoS and to date have produced this contemporary piece of neo brilliance- The UKRM song.
Listen, understand, and subscribe to ukrm. Or don't. The "sons" couldn't give a fuck either way.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've had a few special movements rather than moments. Especially after a curry.
