Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've been singing since I was two so It's been a long time coming. I recorded a demo CD in 2005 and have been wowed by the positive response my music has gotten since I was confident enough to put it on wax...or plastic...or whatever CD's are made of!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes. As songs (which is the original format) and as a poem, too at an open mic contest! I think I just got rid of the stage fright recently by just remembering that those were people I was singing to, not God. I love when people enjoy my music. That's the best high! My special moment was the first time somebody told me they "had to have" the words to "Once in a While Thing" and I sold her a three track CD of mine. For the first time, I felt I had a following growing. Thank you, girl!
Your musical influences
Real artists. People who have something to say and know how to convey it to their audience. "Make me feel it"! That's all I'm sayin'!
What equipment do you use?
My computer and my voice. I try to record in the studio when I can.
