Straight out of the heart of Atlanta Ga,Sonseareah "Sone Sunshyne" Harris is the epitome of what a true messenger should be.Growing up in the hoods of the south,Sone Sunshyne ran around with the fella's playing sports with big "hoop dreams";dancing and rapping in basements to Rob Base instrumentals.
Determined to keep Sone focused on Academics her mother worked hard to keep her out the clenches of poverty and sent her to the best schools for the best education,but that WOULD NOT deter Sone from the 'lime-light'!
The eldest of 3 and unyielding to set a positive example for her younger siblings;Sone began on a path towards Stardom;singing in the church choir at the mere age of 4;writing poetry and performing in countless plays and shows every year in elementary school and beyond.
Moving from Kirkwood to Decatur Ga.;Sone began dancing thruought her community;participating in talent competitions and private parties.Nicknamed "Lo-Lo" and deemed 'most popular',Sone excelled leading by example- she served as drum major for 3 years for the Druid Hills marching band,she was captain of the "Red Devils ' Basketball and Track team and also founded 2 local dance squads:"4-1-1"&"Southern Funk"! It was apparent early on that Sone Sunshyne was sent here for a purpose,with a strong messege.
Following her dreams,Sone moved to Brooklyn NY at age 17 and began working in Manhattan for the "Tim Harris" agency as a model,landing major campaigns for Addidas,Stich Magazine and "Patricia Ayers Clothing" which honored Sone with a 2 page spread - her first tear sheet.
After spending 2 years in NY in a loft on 78th and 1st,living the high life of a top fashion model in Manhattan.Sone returned to Hotlanta to pursue her career in music;revisiting the old hood and reconeccting with the community,friends and family!Highly motivated and following in the path of her inspiration Shawnte "Da Brat" Harris,Sone Sunshyne is now working diligently on her music,writing,recording,and perfecting her craft;sharing her story through her talents!
Confident about her success,Sone stays stong as always and pushes towards delivering the messege in,of, and through the music.
