Somatic is an original 4 pc rock band from Toronto, Canada. We have playing together for 7 years. We would describe our music as EDGY yet MELODIC, powered by SIMPLE yet SOLID harmony.

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
1993 - band was formed as a 5 pc as Wing & a Prayer
1994 - 30 original songs were written, 10 recorded for our first indie release.
1995 - 1996 - continued playing live circuit while selling 3000 copies of our release.
1997 - featured twice on Q107 and once on 97.7.
1998 - dismembered
1999 - 4 original members reform under new name Somatic.
2001 - new 8 song demo released.
2002 - continue playing live while working on new material.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play the local Toronto scene very often and we love it! One special moment was playing a venue called RPM which was one of Toronto's largest club venues.
Your musical influences
Influences are so diverse amongst ourselves but let's just say ELVIS was and is the King and the Beatles and Jimmy Hendrix made it all better!!

Ovation acoustics.
Fender guitars and amps.
Yamaha drums.
