Choppin-N-Chunkin Records is based out of Texas & Louisiana that was founded by S.O.(ceo) to give artist with talent some lead way. With the underground style that was just TO REAL for the radio. S.O. who is also a D.J., producer, & artist made mixed cds slowed down & chopped up with flows from some artist that resided in the texas/Louisiana region mostly consiting of Hustlers only spiting about what they know & what they seen & been through. We're not down with that commercial S@#$ that's mostly going around now. There are currently Choppin-N-Chunkin cds going around the Southern Regions now. S.O. currently reps for Choppin-N-Chunkin Records & Moca Ent. Currently managed by Steve Orphey a.k.a C-Kent. S.O. has a style that u wouldn't really think he's from the South it's just a style of his own that add flavor to beats that don't have potential & just grabs your ears. Houston, Texas is our home & shows us much love, so be on the look out for S.O. da SOUF THUG!!!!!!!!!!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
1987 - Started rapping and making music
1992 - Met D.J. Cold and started making mixtapes
out of his home
1996 - Met with O.G. Ron C who was introduced to
me by D.J. Cold & freestyled with them
when O.G. Ron C had the Parlay Palace
1999 - Founded Choppin-N-Chunkin Records & had
artist like S.O., Mout, Elduchie, M.
Kelly , & Lady B
2000 - Colaberated with the late D.J. Marco Polo
(R.I.P.) & D.J. Cold on mixtapes & cds
for the Syrup Factory & S.D.C.
2005 - Signed with MOCA Ent. & fixing to BUMB

Yea when ever I get a chance, Houston,Tx , Lake Charles,La, Ne orleans,La, or any where in the South to the WestCoast.

Man it goes back to Afrika bambata, Kurtis blow, Run-DMC,Ice Cube, Eazy-E,N.W.A, Scarface, Geto Boys,Suga Hill Gang, Pac , Nas, & DJ Screw & the Screwed Up Click, & the ones who had a major influence in the game.
