SpM is a punk/ska/indie rock band based out of Somerset Ky. The next generation of ska music has arrived, and It's taken the form of 5 Hyper-active (possibly brain damaged) guys.
Band/artist history
The whole thing started years ago, and went through a million different name and lineup changes. Sock Puppet Mafia as it is now began a few years ago, with the lineup of a rhythm trio and two trombones. Several more lineup changes ensued, and in the Summer of 03 SpM finally stuck with what we feel is a solid group.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We play live all the time, wherever we can. The best moments are playing a town for the first time and seeing a bunch of kids who've never heard you before just totally go nuts.

ska punk indie rock raggae disco... you name it
Bands that directly influence our style include less than jake, nofx, catch 22, and the list goes on. We do our best to cover the musical spectrum.
