Sneaky G is a hardcore-ish, incubus-ish band outta Monroe, NY. We have influences ranging from Glassjaw to Incubus, to Rx Bandits, to Green Day, and others. Our biggeset claim to fame is playing with the beautiful mistake at the lovely club static a little while ago. check out our music and tell us what you think.

Band/artist history

Sneaky G started out as a trio of delfin lugo, alex lavon, and yee chen, and became a quartet when alex found his drum machine, named gregory. they formed "the monotones" named after the monotonic yee chen. the band kinda got lame until we found brendan o'connor and immediately kicked gregory out of the band. then we found pat and he became singer. then we realized pat cant sing, so he was outta the band for a while. then along came the fabulous nick johnson and he became singer. then yee became keyboardist and pat became guitarist. then things got dumb with jobs, so yee resigned and became band webmaster, and all around good guy. during that period we had several really bad names until we became sneaky g. we've been improving ever since then and consider ourselves pretty hard rockin at the present time.

we'll play anywhere, anytime, for anyone. and we always love it. r.i.p. club static

Your musical influences

we try to vary our songs somewhat, but what can i say, im a sucker for the heavy metal, and it always seems like a good idea at the time; so our songs have their heavy metal elements. they also have their ska elements, punk rocket science, hardcore-isms, jazzitude, and whatever else tickles our fancy. name a band, we probably stole something from them.
