Band/artist history

Snatch are a powerful and exciting band comprising of brothers Dan and Dom Williams, Tom Fox and Steven Adams. Driven by their love of music, they write and perform their songs with enthusiasm and passion, with massive guitars, hooky melodies and brutally earnest lyrics. Snatch's influences are, amongst others, the Goo Goo Dolls, Lifehouse, Pearl Jam and Matchbox 20 and whilst drawing inspiration from these bands, their music can only be described as unique.

Snatch originally formed in January 2002 as a three-piece, recognising the individual talents of Dan and Dom Williams and Tom Fox. With Dom on the drums, Snatch recorded their first CD 'Live EP' in the summer of 2002, which landed them a performance at 'Wakestock 2002' playing in front of 5000 people, and supporting London based band REEF. In November 2002 the band decided to bring in a new drummer, Steve Adams, to help bring about a tighter, more powerful style.

Snatch recorded their second CD 'Wasted' in January of this year, which led to them being invited back to play at 'Wakestock 2003'. The festival saw Snatch included in an auspicious line up, which included Wheatus, Athlete and Inme, and also saw the band perform in front of their biggest crowd to date. This summer has also seen the boys hard at work writing and recording new material for their third CD entitled ' revolver', which boasts five new songs written with the same expression and passion that has become their trademark.

Snatch have numerous gigs under their belt and have received phenomenal response wherever they play. They continue to play gigs in Wales and England, and also continue to write new material, to add to over thirty of their own songs already penned.
