*Answers to Questions*
Smokey did record some songs with The Wailers (Bob Marley's band) and they did very well in Jamaica, and we are going to be performing a lot more shows here in Las Vegas before we hit the road in November.
* I'll add Smokey's recordings with The Wailers to the site here so you can listen and download. The only copies I have at the moment are on cassette so I'll need to get them transfered to MP3 format before I can upload them.
* Smokey and Suga-Cane will be performing every Friday in August and September at Moose McGillycuddy's in Las Vegas. They will perform 3 sets every Friday night as part of the new 'Coconut Kingdom' festival at The Moose. I'll add more Las Vegas shows to the calendar as they are confirmed.
Look for Smokey and Suga-Cane this August at The Freemont Street Experience too. These shows are not confirmed, but are in the works. If, and when, they are confirmed, I'll add them to the show calendar here on the site.

Eat Sum Food is the story of my life! I can totally relate! I am a huge fan of reggae and I try to listen to all the new bands on mp3.com and all the other free music websites. A friend of mine told me about your band (she went to one of your shows in Jamaica) and I have been looking for you. When I saw you pop up here, and I finally got to hear Eat Sum Food, I was blown away! You guys are everything she said you were. My friend said you recorded some songs with The Wailers in Jamaica? Are you going to put those songs up here too? Well, thank you soooo much for the song, I can't wait to hear more.

Hi Smokey! I saw your show at Moose McGillyCuddy's last Thursday. You guys are great! Bob Marley's song, "Is this love?" is one of my favorite songs of all time and your version of it is the best! When your crew came around with the mailing list I jumped at the chance to sign up. I was surprised to recieve your email so soon after the show. When are you playing again in Las Vegas?
Keep the faith brother! Irie!

Well, it's 2:35 am here in Las Vegas. It's Wednesday, July 9, 2003. I just finished all the basics on Smokey's SoundClick site. For the most part the site is up and running.
I am Smokey's manager, Marc Sterling, and I'll be here on the boards to answer any and all questions as we get this new site rolling. Please feel free to contact me directly with any questions you may have about Smokey or any of the members of Suga-Cane. (MarcSterling@rock.com) On the other hand, you can leave messages here for the band, or any member of the band, and I assure you they will respond.
It's pretty lonely in here right now but that should change soon. At the moment, only Smokey and myself even know about the site. I will be emailing everyone on the bands mailing list to let them know we are up and running here. Since you are reading this, you probably recieved an email directing you here.
Anyway, on behalf of Smokey Starr and all the members of the Fabulous Suga-Cane Band... welcome to the new
