Your musical influences
I came of age on Pink Floyd, punk rock, Paul Oakenfold, Van Dyk, Sasha & Digweed, Nick Warren, Christopher Lawrence, Seb Fontaine, Sander Kleinenberg, Deepsky, and the other big-ticket DJ acts. Locally, I like DJ Onyx (Los Angeles) and DJ CRT (Irvine), Kazy (though he moved to New Zealand or somewhere). I haven't heard any good trance DJs locally in a while. Tiesto came a few times, but I'm not as into his new stuff as his mix on Revolution. What equipment do you use?

I got my first "gut reaction" to the revised Darklight song this morning from XTC. I'll warn you up front ... as I've been doing elsewhere since I saw XTC's reaction ... if you are a "sensitive" person ... let it go and listen to something else. By the way ... I have to thank you for reminding me what I had originally intended for this song. (Insert wild maniacal laughter here.) I had quite forgotten. (More wicked laughter but softer.)
1. The DnB - Darklight - has been revised.
2. Did you want the rain/thunder sample I made? You can have it if you want. No charge .. no hassles .. no nuttin'. Just let me know.
3. And what the f...'s up wid folks that I'm the only one posting on your massage .. errr .. message board?
4. And don't screw around and not let me know when you got something new up .. I wanna hear it .. 'kay?
Thanx for checking out my DnB track. Yeah .. it's relatively new .. a couple of weeks anyway. I've got some massaging to do with it. I know ... you expected it to be dark cuz it's me right? Well ... LOL ... there's a reason for it being rather light and uptempo. I'll let you know when I've worked on it some more. And then you'll understand ... especially if you check out the story behind it.
Hey thanks for the great comments! And you are right about me being more mainstream than you. You still have tight productions and I'm sure you've got plenty of fans.
That thunderstorm fx? LOL. I recorded it live. Got a bunch of thunderstorms moved in and I set up to record. I live in the country on a very quiet little side road. But here it is, thundering like crazy ... rain pouring down ... and everybody & their kid brother decides to drive by my house! It took an HOUR to get just 35 secs of clean recording. One bozo drove by FOUR friggin' times!
