I'm very late with a response, but this is a brilliant remix album. It was the best one I've heard done to the Black Album.
I only have ONE question. Could you give a listing of the samples used on the album? I'm interested in hearing some of the original songs, by Marvin Gaye (but I don't know their titles). I thought you previously listed the samples, but I guess I was wrong. A few of the samples are pretty familiar, but yet a couple of kinda vague. (Moment of Clarity, for example).

What's good - when i saw the title of your Jay remix album I gotta admit i was nervous, but for the most part i'd say you did marvin justice - especially the span of his albums you sampled from.

Very impressive. Sounds a lot better than some of the other ones I've been hearing. Better than "Collision Course" and up there with DJ Danger Mouse. Keep 'em coming.

serious man, the way you come up with the right beat for the right type of flow and lyrics on each track, now thats not something everyones got. I'm fealing the whole concept at 100%

beats are sick smoke my dawg hyconcepts told me to check you out i wasnt sure what i was gonna think when i got to ur page cause you know alot of people have done their own remixes of the black album but im glad i checked you out though ive always been a fan of marvin gayes music so to hear somebody flip his samples and use um on a hiphop beat it blew me away keep droppin man ill be back to listen to more

This album is sick - far better than the grey album or the black and blue album - keep up the good work. Seriously - they call Kanye's production soul drenched, but dropping J over some real soul. Unstoppable.
I swear this ish is FRESH!! I've been listening to it for what feels like 2 years now. Still can't get enough of it!!
