Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Starting out writting poetry in high school, tried rapping. Now I focus on the behind the scenes; the producing, engineering, marketing, etc.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Make beats in the basement. Did a talent show back in the day.
Your musical influences
DJ Premier (of Gangstarr), Kanye West, 9th Wonder & Khrysis (of the Justus League), Danger Mouse, Dre, Timbaland, and local acts such as D-TalkX, Suspence and especially 2005 Juno Nominee, DL Incognito.
What equipment do you use?
I'm using Reason 3.0 with Cubase and Nuendo. I also use Garage Band from time to time, and Sony Acid 3.0 for chopping samples. I use Zoom and Roland drum machines, some cheap keyboards, and an accoustic guitar.
