Small Town Sleeper
Small Town Sleeper
THE STORY:
Beyond the hustle and bustle of city lights, there is a back road that leads to a place still littered with corner stores and candy shops. It is a place where opportunity is homemade, and dreams are self served. It's a place filled with families, friends, and Friday night football games: for Small Town Sleeper, it's a place called home.
As a four piece rock band from rural Ohio, Small Town Sleeper knows all to well how to stand out in a crowd. By pouring passionate storytelling into hook filled radio ready pop/rock, STS has drawn national attention receiving number #1 phone requests for several weeks on specialty radio in St. Louis, has charted on numerous websites including Alternative Addictions Top 10 and Radio Indy, as well as appeared on XM Radio RADAR report. Pulling stories from everyday life, and hinting at influences from Mellencamp to Matchbox, it is obvious that for Small Town Sleeper, it's all about the songs...great songs.
Working under the guidance of Grammy Winner, Ken Lewis, (producer/mixer/engineer), Small Town Sleeper continue to record and tour throughout the Midwest. With industry buzz starting to build one thing is for sure...Small Town Sleeper is ready to take the leap from small town somethings to big city breakouts.
Small Town Sleeper has recently inked a management deal with Union Entertainment Group (www.ueginc.com) making them the "fresh horses" in a stable that includes such artists as Nickelback and Default.
