Slump is not "Screw", it's slowed down like Screw but Slump is in a class all by themselves. In the south, everyone is trying to jump on the "Screw" bandwagon, but you can only REALLY screw and chop a song one way (If you are doing it right). Go out right now and buy any Beltway 8, Swisha House, Screw House, Lion's Den or whatever, and I'll bet you 9 times out of 10 that those CDs have the same songs screwed and chopped. And I'll also bet that the rappers on there are flowing to all of the same beats. Now, go out and get a Slump CD, and I guarntee you'll notice the difference. Yea, it's slowed down too, but that's where the similarities end. You'll notice it's not those old poor quality flows you are used to on "Screw" CDs. Every flow that Slump puts out is off tha chain, For most of them they create their own beat, a concept for the song and a tight hook. You won't hear no, "I'm Gonna Come Down" or "I'm Breakin' Boys Off" bullsh*t that you hear on everything else. These boys bring sh*t up a notch, giving you a higher quality product. Right now 2 of the Slump Masters are on the Vibe Magazine Black College Tour (Aziz and Massive), and Slump as a group is dropping their 2nd above ground release called "Slump Olymipiks", there 1st above ground release is already in stores. It's called "Latin Embassy - Slumped and Dumped". Also these boys have already worked out the deals to be appearing on a few Movie Soundtracks that will be released real soon, as well as colaborations with others groups that are established and ones that are struggling to make it.
